My Future
“Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get.” You never know the hand your going to be dealt. You never know the importance of your position, until something so amazing forces you to open your eyes and take part of existence. Then, when you realize that this amazing force in your life is you, the benefits you reap are so much sweeter. Personal Achievements are the makings of you, no one else in the world can claim victory over the essence of your achievement. So when you achieve a personal goal in your life, stand up, put the crown on your head, and claim your victory. Growing up, my family was never the religious type of family. Church was one of the many options that I had to pursue. Whatever path I choose to go down, would be simply that, one of my choosing. I dedicated my life to accomplishing an achievement that would have an everlasting impact on me and also the entire world. Upon opening the first page, reading and utilizing the script of the Holy Bible, I became entrapped in the spiritual yet humane reality that this was still apart of the world surrounding me. Stay focused, dream big, look above and beyond, if at any point in my life I needed to believe in and put to work the educational values that were instilled in me, it was then. So I used the knowledge I had, looked above and beyond and I realized that I too could make a difference. Just by opening a book and reading it, life for me had begun anew. Now I stand up for my American heritage and welcome the political powers I am capable of receiving. At 21 years of age I have already taken the necessary steps towards furthering my education that ensures me a better tomorrow. If the impact of my academic achievement wasn’t important nor relevant, the recognition I strive to gain would be self contradicting and self centered. My purpose has become more about the people and giving back, less about myself and I believe that purpose is more important than any I could falsely proclaim. John 3:16, ”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:17, “For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” In my everlasting life I dream I can save the world. I am one of God’s children and my work here on earth is far from done. I am now ready to give all I have. Born september 22, 1985, raised in the south side streets of Houston Texas, Now known as the SWAT, from the streets of spice lane to club creek was the making of the worlds next "superstar", miss Ashley Dunlap. I began writing at the early age of 10 and have been into music ever since. Growing up I listened to Trina, “The Diamond Princess” and Americas favorite Ruff Ryder E V E, I grew fond of the free willed rapper chick image which curved my writing into the field of rap and hip hop. With huge dreams of success I keep school number one in my life and graduated from Westside High School in 2004. The number one goal in my life now was to pursue a music career. The maturity of my writing began to flow on a whole new level which encouraged me to throw out all of my writings and began anew. I now have an even deeper passion for writing and a burning crave for fame. Knocking down all obstacles in my way the path to stardom proves clearer everyday. I now only need one chance, one opportune time to prove my worth to the hip hop community and the world.
